Can I wear the white and yellow gold together?
Q. I have several yellow-gold with diamond thin bracelets and just got a white gold with diamond bracelet; Can I wear the white and yellow gold together? Hannah is accessorizing in Philadelphia, P.A.
A. Yes, Contrary to the way we were all conditioned to never layer or mix metals for years. It is totally appropriate and fun to mix metals, as long as you are mixing with a purpose and you keep in mind ratio. Meaning you’re NOT trying to balance it 50/50. Personally I love mixing rose gold and silver and I usually do mostly rose gold with small amounts of silver to make the look even more dynamic. I keep my ratios to 70/30 or 80/20. If you mix them tastefully and purposefully, gold and silver can be very beautiful together. However, when you seem to have combined them at random, that's when they look tacky.
