Am I a cool enough to wear Mom Jeans?

 I see my daughter and her friends dressing in mom jeans.  I previously did not see the appeal but their geek chic look is making me think, should I try this denim trend?

Mom Jeans are High-waist, straight-leg jeans that are all the rage with millennial's, as evidenced on streets of Milan, Paris, and your daughter. To wear the new-again silhouette choose embellished and distressed styles and toughen it up with a moto jacket and tucking in your blouse to further highlight the denim. 

Is it a trend that you should try? Well, if you are wanting to try it because you can incorporate it into your already cool mom style, or have the body shape that this silhouette will look great on, go right ahead. If you want to try it because it looks good on your daughter, then... Nope. It will come off looking like an imitation and nailing this look takes an artistic individuality.
